They have a huge amount of beer compared to any grocery store. I had never been to a place like this, so my first time walking in was overwhelming. I would recommend this over the Peoria Friar Tuck's in a heartbeat, but not over the two Binny's locations recently reviewed in my 'places' page. (1) 4 pack of Alesmith Speedway Stout bottles (3/26/21) - $11.99 (2) singles from the rack - $1.66 ea a case of Triptych IPAs like Dank Meme, My Spaceship, BTV, Wizard, etc - all dated between 9/16/21 and 9/29/21 - about $80.

This store was much more organized and cared for than the Peoria ghetto mart. Pretty decent store, clean, most things were tagged IF they were in the right spot. Most everything else was from late 2020 or early 2021. I also found some beers from 20, a stout and an IPA respectively. I asked the manager why I couldn't find any Pipeworks beers and he laughed. Out of the whole 30-or-so choices, I felt those two were the most rational.Īpart from Triptych (which is only an hour away from this city), everything else was a date nightmare. I nabbed an Excel Stout and a 4202 Vanilla Coffee Juele. I did however find some abysmal dates going on here just like the FT in Peoria.Ĭhoices were nearly plentiful but abysmal, many dates were from last year. I did not feel the need to look over my shoulder here. Much more updated than the ghetto nightmare that was Peoria's location.
